Lorrie Manning, RDH

Lorrie was born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania and moved to Durham when she was six years old. She is the youngest of eight children. She now lives in Fuquay-Varina with her husband and three children. Her husband Mark, is a home builder. Macy is eighteen and will be attending college in the fall. Jamie is eight and Zach is seven and are in elementary school.

Lorrie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. She has been practicing dental hygiene for twenty-four years. Lorrie is a member of the NC Dental Hygiene Academy of Advanced Studies and enjoys keeping up with dentistry by attending continuing education courses. She worked for her brother who is a dentist for the first ten years of her career in Oxford, North Carolina. Lorrie has been employed with Dr. Higgins since April 2008, but had been a patient of his for the previous 8 years.

Lorrie stays busy attending her childrens activities – piano, dance, and baseball. They love going to Wrightsville Beach. She enjoys cooking and likes to bring goodies to the office. She also likes to run and spend time with her two girls shopping.
